Welcome to the Crake Valley Croquet Club website

The Club is located in a picturesque setting at Greenodd in the south Lake District (see Find Us page). There are excellent facilities with two full lawns and further playing areas in preparation.

Croquet is a game for all ages and a handicapping system helps beginners to join in full games at an early stage. Both Association and Golf Croquet are played and as well as playing in internal competitions, members play in league matches arranged by the North West Federation of Croquet Clubs.

More information about the game can be found on our Links page. If you would like to learn more and perhaps try out the game, you will be assured of a warm welcome at this friendly Club. We offer free “taster” sessions and also take bookings from visitors, groups and other croquet clubs – see calendar for current availability – we charge £5 per person per visit for use of club equipment, with a small additional charge for tea / coffee / light refreshments (click here for a booking form). The lawns are available to hire / visit 7 days a week 9 am to 9 pm April to September and 9 am to 4 pm October to March.

Just get in touch using the Contact Us page or contact our Visitors secretary (details on the About Us>Club Committee page)
