CRAKE VALLEY GOLF CROQUET INTERNAL “BLOCK” COMPETITION 2018
All players play each other – 1 game – winner of group after all games progresses to the final
2 points awarded for a win / 1 point for a draw and nil points for a loss
If scores are level after 45 mnutes then 8 additional shots are taken (2 per ball – no extra turns allowed)
If scores remain level then the match is drawn FULL HANDICAP – MAXIMUM 12
After all matches have been played If 2 or more players are tied on points then the person
with most hoops scored will progress
If the total number of hoops are the same then the result between them will determine winner
All matches must be played by Monday 6th August to allow the final to be held in good conditions
ALL PLAYERS share responsibility to contact others to arrange a mutually suitable date to play

INTERNAL “BLOCK” COMPETITION FINALS
The four group winners played the finals block. Frank Sharps and David Cornes both won 2 games and scored the same number of hoops but, because Frank had beaten David 7-4 earlier in the day, Frank Sharps was declared winner of the inaugural block competition.
