As there was a tie for best runner up in Block A and B, a play off was needed between Fiona Armer and Peter Thompson – won by Fiona Armer.
The Block Finals will, therefore, be contested by Fiona Armer, Sheila Edmondson, John Armer and Roger Coates, to be held on Monday 29th August starting at 1 pm.
In the first of 3 rounds in the finals, Fiona beat John 7 – 4 and Roger beat Sheila by the same score. The second round saw Sheila beat John 7 – 5 and Roger beat Fiona on the golden hoop. In the last round, Roger beat John 7 – 5 and Fiona beat Sheila 7 – 5. All games were played using the Advantage system.

All matches must be played by Friday 12th August to allow the finals to be held in good conditions. The semi finals will involve the winner from each block as well as the best placed player from Block A or Block B, taking into account the points scored and the hoop difference.
